5 days. 5 days until we leave for San Antonio for the Bridges International Vision 2010 conference. This will be my first year in 5 years not attending the San Diego Winter Conference. I am a bit sad that I am not going to that, but I spent 4 years as a student going so that’s good enough right? Spend my last year actually ministering to people rather than hanging out and having a good time....
Regrets. It’s something we all have and we often think, and hate, about what could have been and how things would possibly be different. I think, for me, one of the biggest regrets I have is living with a lie. A lie that seemed to real to me at the time, but looking back at it it was just a lie. Have you watched a mother hopelessly fight, selling her body trying to feed her dying child? Have you held an orphan abandoned by disease? My heart weighs heavy for these. I will go. Lord, here I am. Pre-Preview of my Senior Project. Every Monday, starting December 6th I will be posting a short clip of one of the songs for my senior project and a brief description.
Have you watched a mother hopelessly fight, selling her body trying to feed her dying child? Have you held an orphan abandoned by disease? My heart weighs heavy for these. I will go. Lord, here I am. Your love compels this life. I will be Your hands and feet to bring Your hope and healing. Just to hear them sing, “Jesus loves me, this I know…”
Dear Jesus, Allow me to know the depth of you, incorporate that into my whole...
